Hello, today I will show you why your Fire-Lite BG-12LX may not be responding. Please note, I am NOT a Fire Alarm Professional, Nor am I certified in said feild. Here are a few scenarios on what could be going wrong.
Scenario 1:
Check to make sure that your Pull Station address selection rotoray switches match the address programmed into the panel. Once you find out said Pull Station's address, change the rotoray wheels to match the address programmed into the panel. If this did not make sense, please check the video for more info.
Scenario 2: You pull your Pull Station and your panel says that there is a short on it's SLC loop.
IMMEDIATELY Reset said Pull Station. Take the Pull Station off the wall, and make sure your wiring matches the SLC Feild Wiring Guide's wiring diagram. Once you have corrected your wiring, re mount your Pull Station on the wall. Check the wiring inside your panel, and then if everything is wired properly according to the SLC feild wiring guide, and the wiring diagram on the panel's door, then check to make sure that your pull station's activity light is blinking. If it is, test your Pull Station. If the panel goes into a system alarm condition, and your alarms are not sounding, please reset the system immediately, and check your NAC wiring. If the activity light on the Pull Station is not blinking, follow the steps for Scenario 1.
