Judging from the static performance, CFMOTO has high expectations for the 150SC. So what is the riding experience of the 150SC?
Seat height and sitting posture
The seat height of 150SC is 765mm, which is very user-friendly. Riders around 165cm tall can sit on it without any pressure. The seat material is very comfortable, and with the comfortable riding triangle setting, Guorui, who is 178cm tall, has plenty of leg room when riding in a normal sitting position. His legs can be stretched naturally and his lower limbs are very relaxed.
In order to take into account the flexibility of control, the angle of the handlebar is set back and narrow. After a day of violent driving, there is no great fatigue and the comfort performance is good. It is worth mentioning that this 5-inch TFT full-color curved instrument shows clear data even in the hot sun at noon, and there is no reflection. However, the silver trim of the handlebar cover is obviously reflective and dazzling. It is better to use a dark color here.
Power test
In terms of power, it uses a mature water-cooled two-valve engine. The power tuning is the same as the Cruise 150GT we have tested. It is smooth and comfortable. The starting speed is about 2500 rpm. The power connection from starting to medium and high speed is very smooth. Compared with the UHR150 in terms of smoothness, it is even better than the UHR150. This is where its performance is outstanding.
Thanks to the new tuning of CFMOTO, the 150SC is very smooth and quiet from the start to the maximum speed. There is no loud noise during the rapid acceleration, and the power response is smooth, giving people a sense of ease. At a high speed of just over 9,000 rpm, the 150SC does not feel hoarse, and the vibration is still very low, giving people the feeling that the throttle is far from being exhausted. The performance of this transmission and engine power after the re-tuning is quite amazing, making the driving texture of the whole vehicle much more advanced.
At the same time, the output characteristics of this Loncin power, which has been fully tuned by CFMOTO, have also changed significantly. From starting to top speed, the output is quite balanced, and the highly smooth transmission gives people a "weak" acceleration feeling, but the actual acceleration is not slow, which is considered to be quite satisfactory. After multiple measurements, the 0-60 of 150SC is 6.5s, and the 0-90 is 16.2s. The main speed sections are slightly faster than the Sanyang Cruise 150GT by about 0.2-0.9 seconds (the gap becomes larger in the later sections). Compared with some sports pedals that focus on power, the acceleration of 150SC after 50 mph is indeed weaker, which is understandable. Its tuning is highly smooth and comfortable, and the acceleration is sufficient.
After a long-distance acceleration, the 150SC showed 108km/h at 9200rpm, which is basically the limit. This top speed is ordinary in the 150 class. The power performance of this car does not continue the family-style play characteristics, but is steady and stable, highlighting stability and comfort. Whether accelerating or speeding, it is very stable, in exchange for an extremely smooth acceleration feeling, which is the most intuitive feeling.
In addition, the wind resistance in the calf area is greater when driving at high speed, and the area below the knees seems to be exposed to the outside of the car and is blown directly. This is because the mold of the front turn signal group extends backward and has a certain bulge, which causes air turbulence to blow directly when riding at high speed. In autumn and winter, it is recommended to wear long knee pads to improve safety and prevent direct blowing of high-speed airflow.
Amazing vibration suppression
The vibration suppression of this 150SC can be said to be amazing. The vibration of the whole vehicle is very slight at idle speed, and it is almost unnoticeable before 60 km/h. Even in the medium and high speed section of 60-100 km/h, the vibration is still very small overall. Note that it is "still very small". When driving at full throttle, the rearview mirror of the car is not blurred at all, and there is no obvious vibration on the seat, handlebars and pedals. The performance is quite amazing. In terms of overall vibration performance, it is at the top level among 150 pedals, and the vibration suppression in the middle and rear sections is slightly better than that of UHR150 and Cruise 150GT.
