At least 40 Iraqi visitors were killed and 120 others injured after twin bombs hit the old city section of Damascus on Saturday, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement.
The bombs exploded at a bus station near the Bab al-Saghir ancient cemetery in the Damascus neighborhood of Bab al-Saghir. The attacks was carried out by two suicide bombers, local media reported.
