The future of the UK-Spain relationship and the EU in a Post Covid world
Covid-19 has shifted global priorities and has challenged security in and among countries making global cooperation more important than ever. As a consequence, holistic policy making becomes indispensable to international governance. The changing international environment is also fluctuating due to new relationship dynamics in and around the EU. We are entering an era of New Beginnings in politics, societal life and our economies. How can this be translated into effective, transparent and goal-oriented government action? We are very excited to welcome Pedro Sánchez, the prime minister of Spain, to our German Symposium 2021! Pedro Sánchez is the head of government of Spain since 2018 and the Secretary-General of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE).
