How to Push Start a Motorcycle or Dirt Bike. In this video I show you how to push start your bike if it has a low battery or for some reason it just wont turn over.A quick tip on starting your dirt bike without the kick starter or running your battery dead on your motorcycle. I hope these were full instructions on how to do push start your motorcycle. I will try to answer all your questions, leave them below! HELPFUL TIPS:
1. If tire skips or slides, try to bounce on the bike at the same time releasing the clutch. This will help turn the motor over.
2. Make sure you have the key in the on position.
3. Make sure the Kill switch is in the on position.
4. Make sure the Kick stand is up.

PROBLEMS:
1. - If you can't get the rear to get traction, sit more upward and transfer weight towards the rear. You can also do this by bouncing on the bike at the same time as releasing the clutch.

2. - Can't get enough speed to push start your motorcycle? Find a steeper hill and also leave the bike in neutral when pushing it. Depending on how your clutch is adjusted, it can create unnecessary drag or friction.
