Your 4 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for December 20, 2024:
It's a snowy start to our Friday morning with on and off snow expected to continue throughout the day as an area of low pressure swings through the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. Temps will hold above freezing for the day helping any roads that are treated to stay wet. Anything untreated will be slick this morning.
Attention then turns towards the development of lake effect snow later this afternoon into the evening that will carry through our Saturday into Saturday night. Roads could get tricky later this evening for those with travel or last minute errand plans. As a result, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the primary snowbelt and Cuyahoga County as well.
