This oil change method will be valid for the 2013 through the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek & Crosstrek XV - all USA spec with the FB20 motor. If you have a 2013 through 2019 Crosstrek or Crosstrek XV in the USA then you have the FB20.

Oil performed on a USA-spec 2016 Subaru Crosstrek 2.0L Limited

Tools Recommended:
- 17mm Socket (2018 and 2019 years potentially use 14mm socket)
- Ratchet
- Oil Drain Pan
- Clean Towels or Rags



Parts Required:
- 5.1 US quarts [4.2 IMPERIAL quarts or 4.8 Liters] of 0w20 full synthetic motor oil
- Oil filter

Engine Oil Capacity for Crosstrek
2013-2017 are 5.1 US quarts/4.2 IMPERIAL quarts/4.8 Liters
2018-2019 are 4.7 US quarts/3.9 IMPERIAL quarts/4.4 Liters
