A new mother lost her life in a lift accident at a Hospital in Meerut. The crash occurred when the lift’s cable snapped during descent. Two employees accompanying her were also injured. Grieving family members protested and vandalized the hospital, forcing the relocation of 13 other patients. Authorities are investigating technical faults, with the hospital’s license at stake if negligence is proven.
