The Sun has been worshiped as a life-giver to our planet since ancient times.But modern science gave us the understanding of sunlight as an energy which can be stored and utilized .
Each hour, the sun releases the equivalent energy of 430 quintillion Joules, while the total amount of energy that all humans use in a year is 410 quintillion Joules. So if just one hour of direct sunlight was collected and generated into
electricity, it could run the operations of the entire world for a whole year!
The question is, if we have a virtually limitless source of clean energy in the form of solar power, why are we not capturing it and harnessing it as much as we should?
And that is where the International Solar Alliance or ISA comes in?
