Without history no future. Sustainable new building project on old foundations;
An old factory (foundry) of Stork has been renovated into a building that houses thousands of students and businesses. The new Regional Education Centre (ROC) of Twente, located in Hengelo, Netherlands, is a good example of how sustainability can go together with cultural heritage and environment. The utilization of the heat pump also plays a large role in the new housing project.
