Less than a year after it was completed, Calgary’s Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) was put to the ultimate test on June 20, 2013 as Calgary experienced its largest floods since 1897. The City of Calgary issued a flood warning, activated the Municipal Emergency Plan and declared a State of Local Emergency.
