My first-ever encounter with Komodo dragons was pretty amazing. They are both interesting and dangerous creatures. The largest living species of lizards are found mostly on islands within the Komodo National Park. I was lucky enough to see a few of them. Some were pretty huge and some were still babies.
They have an amazing camouflage, so good that sometimes we really struggled to distinguish them from the soil. They pretend to be sleeping to attack their preys.
