It is easy to see how this could be a picture for the healing that can come after trauma and brokenness in the mind. With time and gentle care in the right hands, destructive thoughts can be redirected and changed, becoming a valuable part of that person's history that makes them unique and precious. Every scar reveals the pain and pressure that had to be overcome and shows the strength that was needed to become an overcomer.
