I'm Lee Carter with Sleep Essentials with another installment of information that you need to know when buying a mattress. I got a call last week from a woman in Richmond, Virginia, who said she has scarring on her arms, her back and her legs coming from her new mattress. And the scarring and the cuts in her skin is coming from the glass fibers in her mattress. She got her mattress from Ashley Home Furnishing, which is a Ashley brand mattress. And she sent me a law label on the mattress that shows that the mattress has glass fiber. Check it out. Now, as you can see here, it says 60% glass fiber. It's no wonder she's having scarring
and cuts in her skin. She also informed me there is a class action lawsuit against Ashley Home Furnishings along with Nectar Mattress and Zenus Mattress. These are three mattress companies that are using glass fibers in their mattresses to meet federal flammability regulations. Now, what you'll find is there's companies out there that are claiming we use no harmful chemicals. Okay. So you're using harmful glass fibers. That's something that I'm saying you need to be aware of. There are companies that say they're using wool. Well, wool burns, they have to treat the wool with fire retardant chemicals. There is no safe flame retardant mattress in the industry. Let me repeat that. There is no safe flame retardant mattress in the industry. They are all either toxic or has glass fibers in them that will eventually work their way through the fabrics and get into you and in your home. That's why this woman had this mattress for two years. Probably when she first got it, she slept on it. It didn't bother her, but after two years, those glass fibers are working themselves to the surface and they're cutting her. There is a class action lawsuit against these three companies. The law firm is Lovely or Lovely law firm in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. If you feel like you're having trouble with your mattress, may be causing you to itch, causing you to have some health issues. You may want to contact this Lovely law firm. It's in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Isn't it interesting that all of these mattress companies are making mattresses to meet federal flammability regulations and they're all harmful? Now, the reason I tell you this is because I'm one of the very unique, one of maybe only two in the country that are actually making mattresses that do not have flame retardants in them. How do I get around it? You're going to have to check out my website, SleepEssentials.com. I give you a complete mattress education and I'll tell you how to get mattress with no fire retardancy. You don't need a flame retardant mattress. You don't need flame proof mattresses. And you certainly don't want to sleep in toxic chemicals or glass fibers. I'm Lee Carter, president of Sleep Essentials. Please check out my website, SleepEssentials.com, where you can learn more about this information. Because you go into a mattress store, furniture store or look at mattresses online. These companies are telling you virtually nothing. Just because they say we use no harmful chemicals does not mean their mattress is safe.
Thank you so much for watching.
