Since 2003, the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (KL-YES) Program has helped many Indonesian students experience learning while living with a host family in the United States. When they finished the program, alumni are expected to serve for their community at home. After 20 years creating future leaders, here is a short compilation of how the YES Program has affected the Indonesian alumni, the community in the United States, and the community in Indonesia.
