RYOBI 40V 22" 2-Stage Electric Self-Propelled Snow Blower
Home Depot model: RY408150VNM

I bought this blower a couple days ago at an auction for $450
It’s brand new. It was fully assembled. It’s looks like a display model.
The Home Depot website says it comes with a single charger and 2x 8aH batteries.
Mine came with a double charger, 2x 6aH batteries, and a broken chute handle.
Interestingly, you can buy a couple 6aH batteries and a double charger for about $470.
So essentially, I bought the batteries & charger, and got a free snow blower.
I picked it up within a couple days, and then the next day we had 3” of wet snow!
I was able to run the 6aH batteries for about 18 minutes. Then I ran a couple 4aH batteries (that I already had for my leaf blower and chain saws) for about 12 minutes.
This snow blower is too small for my driveway. It’s better suited to a small or medium sized driveway.
It surprised me by how well it did work. It drives too fast, and it can really throw snow.
Home depot has a bigger 24” Ryobi snowblower that I suspect is still too small for me, but it uses 4x 6aH batteries at a time.
Bad news…. I could NOT find any parts for these snowblowers. Anywhere! Not even at the www.ryobitools.com website. And that pretty much makes this a throwaway snowblower. I have no idea how long it will last, but it SHOULD be good for several seasons.
