A Compressor is an essential tool when producing music. When making EDM/Pop music you will often add in a piano. These are often over-compressed to maximize loudness. Today we will learn how to “double compress” piano’s to maximize loudness.
Often saturation is added right after the first compressor. But often, this leads to distorted sounds. This time we will add saturation after the second compressor.
This tutorial works in every DAW with a compressor and a saturation plugin.
