Places to eat in Hanoi part 8!
This bun cha place is just outside the old quarter, it’s the famous spot where Barack Obama and Anthony Bourdain had a meal together So you’ll often here this place referred to as the ‘Obama Bun Cha Place’ 🙌🏼
The table they sat at is now memorialised behind glass on the second floor of the restaurant, and you’ll find memorabilia and pictures all around the restaurant of the famous visit!
I’ll start off by saying that I’m sure people are gonna comment saying “this place is bad” and it’s just for tourists, but we actually visited early in the morning and we were the only tourists, the place was full of locals soooo… read into that what you will 😅
Anyway, we got the Obama combo for 120,000 dong which comes with bun cha, seafood spring rolls and a beer 😍
As for the bun cha, we loved the meatballs - they were probably the best we had in Hanoi! and the spring rolls were PACKED with seafood!
