Kassem's version of the hack squat (Hack Squat Pro) builds upon the refined quality of Atlantis Strength and adds the features of an adjustable foot plate, adjustable back rest for rest, lower band pegs, and reverse band pegs that use a rotating axis to keep the motion smooth and protect your bands. There is also band storage on the back of the machine, double weight horns for increased load capacity, and a fall away safety mechanism that allows you to lift off and start your set in a stable position. The handles are positioned so they can be grasped high or low, with the low position angling out for better stability. Most other hack squats on the market fail to get the basic ergonomics of the pads and handles designed properly making them less comfortable and harder to stabilize during those hard sets.

The adjustable back rest makes this have a hack squat and leg press combo function. It can be set to resemble a position similar to a trap bar deadlift, or a low incline leg press.
