Muara Beloan, Muara Pahu, West Kutai, East Kalimantan
Muara Beloan is one of the villages in the Muara Pahu sub-district, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan province, Indonesia.
Muara Beloan is bordered by Muara Bunyut, Rambayan, Kampung Baru, Jerang Melayu, Gunung Bayan, and Tanjong Laong.
Muara Beloan Village, Muara Pahu District, is an important fishery center in West Kutai Regency. This village, which is surrounded by several tributaries and lakes, does have extraordinary fishery resources, with various types of inland public waters such as tambakan/biawan fish, jelawat, cork, catfish, sepat siam, lais, betook, and some white fish. However, the level of utilization of this fishery resource is also high considering that the people of this village completely rely on capture fisheries.
