Coco coir out performs peat moss in every way. BUT sometimes the question comes up is coco coir TRULY “environmentally friendly”? Some claim coco coir is produces in poor working conditions/ factories overseas and it’s deman far exceeds the normal amount that’s available from being a waste product of processing coconuts for other uses. With such high demand alternatives should be looked into for coco coir or ways to use it in lower quantities.

Here we tested out the product Hydrafiber!
It comes in a similar form as coco coir BUT contains 60% coco coir and 40% synthetic coir
