Inspecting tires is often one of the most neglected duties of drivers and the steer tire is the most dangerous to blowout. In this video I demonstrate what I’ve learned when it comes to inspecting steer tires for tread depth, which doesn’t take into account proper inflation, proper inflation will be up to your specific application and/or tires, so verify proper inflation pressure with specifications of your tires.
