Finally got to install the power steering pump 9 days after it exploded on the road coming back from buying the car.. In the meantime I pulled the mats front and back to start to source where the water ingress is coming from. Under the mats everything was wet. I touched up the fender moldings, the front grill, and ordered the Indicator lights for the ARB front bullbar, a new adventure AC grill from Roversnorth, a set of mudflaps, some missing molding trim buttons... slowly but surely making progress.
In case your power steering belt goes out while on a trip, you can have this high quality Gates belt handy to bypass the power steering pump. Harder to drive but you can put it on while on the side of the road and get home.
