Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, known as the Pine Wood Nematode is a lethal pest on pine trees, causing havoc in pine forests and stands. It is a dangerous invasive species, spreading fast across the globe 🌍. The potential danger it presents is reason enough for it to be considered a quarantine pest in most of Europe.
