러시아 가즈프롬 '유럽 가스 가격 겨울되면 60% 오를 것'’
Russian gas giant Gazprom is warning that gas prices in Europe could spike from current levels this winter by another 60 percent.
Gazprom estimates that prices could exceed 4 thousand U.S. dollars per 1 thousand cubic meters.
This,... it says,... comes as a result of falling exports and production, which it blames on Western sanctions.
Gas from Russia,... Europe's top supplier,... has been flowing at reduced levels this year, after one line was shut following Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.
Gas prices have surged as a result,... and are expected to remain high as scorching heat drives up power demand in many parts of Europe.
