It's easy and relatively inexpensive to zip around Colombia on Avianca airways. On this trip we head up to Pereira, Colombia, a fantastic city with a lively vibe and within a short driving distance of so many money spots, as you saw in my last video of the BioHabitat Hotel (you're soft if you haven't watched that one yet). This time we head up to the Termales of Santa Rosa de Cabal.
Santa Rosa is a beautiful little city in itself, but we only pass through on the way to the hot springs on this beautiful day. It's a long and bumpy dirt road once you hit the turn off for the hot springs, but the ride is well worth it, as you'll see in the video.
The path up to the termales is so money. Beautiful, small waterfalls and plenty of nature - along with some nice photo op spots. Once you reach the spa and the hot springs, the views are magnificent, a huge waterfall coming down right into the spa area and multiple hot spring pools to plunge into.
A mud face mask was available, so I took advantage of that, which turned into VFC reciting lines from Rambo - the mud on the face in the jungle just brought it out in me.
Another great experience in beautiful Colombia! Love this place.
Ah yeah.
