The Market Square, Wrocław (Polish: Rynek we Wrocławiu, German: Großer Ring zu Breslau) is a medieval market square in Wrocław Old Town.
We start walking on Plac Solny, the Salt Market. It was built quite early in the city’s history, most likely in 1242, while Wrocław was being reconstructed following the disastrous Mongol Invasion.
The Old Town in Wrocław (Polish: Stare Miasto we Wrocławiu) is the oldest part of the Wrocław, originating from the thirteenth century.
Wroclaw Old Town has many interesting and historical buildings to see. On this sunny day we'll walk by Market Square, Town Hall, St Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic parish, a well known 14-th century gothic church.
