Days after the announcement of the income support of 6000 per annum to farmers, minister of state for agriculture gajendra Singh shekhawat raised the political pitch and said that allocations to agriculture sector have been more in comparison to UPA regime and those who criticise the new income support scheme as too little and too late should remember that earlier govts did not initiate an effort like this.
