The A470, the main road from north to south Wales, passes through the Crimea Pass - Bwlch y Gorddinan in Welsh - just before the slate quarry town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Here are some views along this section of the road, including Dolwyddelan Castle - built in the early 13th century by Llywelyn the Great, Prince of Gwynedd.
