UK Conservatives have launched “Operation Big Dog” in attempt to save Boris Johnson’s premiership, after public anger grows over a series of parties held at Number 10 Downing Street during lockdown last year.
This entails several policy measures aimed at appeasing voters, including the scrapping of Plan B restrictions by the end of January, a culture change which could include a ban on alcohol and freezing the BBC’s licence fee.
The Chairman of the UK’s Conservative Party, Oliver Dowden, has called for a culture change at Downing Street, saying he was disgusted by revelations of the parties.
He has backed Mr Johnson to remain as Prime Minister, however a sixth Conservative MP has now called on the Prime Minister to resign.
