Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) is the paradigm re-shaping healthcare today and promotes the much-needed change in focus from services to outcomes. Thus, VBHC involves redesigning delivery processes, shifting from a volume to a patient value-centred approach and improving teamwork within health organisations. Health managers need examples, a pool of good practices and practical guidance on how to implement VBHC and translate theory to practice.
