Taylor Swift, 30, made a surprise appearance at the NME Awards 2020 held at London's O2 Arena on Wednesday night to accept the award for Best Solo Act In The World.

The pop star skipped the red carpet and shocked award-goers as she took to the stage to collect her gong, and to present the Godlike Genius Award to Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis, 41.Taylor perfectly matched her edgy ensemble to the event's colour scheme in a deconstructed co-ord, with the black and white shorts and shirt set showcasing her flair for fashion.asymmetric wrap-over shirt featured an unusual one bardot style white sleeve. Taylor showcased her lithe pins in the matching pin-striped shorts, boosting her height with a pair of pointed white lace-up ankle boots.

The singer slung the long white strap of her small satchel bag across her body and accessorised with small silver earrings. Her blonde tresses were styled into an effortless chignon and natural beauty was enhanced with a flawless make-up look, topped off with a bold red lip.


In true rock star style, Taylor took her glass of white wine with her on stage when she accepted her gong.
