Rivers like the Skootamatta, Black and Moira offer fantastic whitewater paddling in the Spring of the year, but the calmer sections also provide perfect day outings during the Summer and Fall.

Here's a great on-line route map of the entire Skootamatta River. Kevin's family did the stretch from the Highway #7 access, north to High Falls, and return. An easy half day journey.
