This video features the footage from the official music video followed by some footage from an officially released live performance of the song to accompany the guitar solo at the end of the song, as the official music video fades the song out early, as was done on some European releases of the single, and omits the excellent, proper ending of the song. This live performance footage is from the 1999 DVD-video "Live at Sturgis", recorded live on location at The Buffalo Chip Campground, Sturgis, SD, August 12, 1999.

That was the best-quality upload of this music video that I could find online. I have replaced the audio track with a high-quality, full-length one of the single, and this involved speeding up the footage slightly, as it was running slightly slow compared to the HQ audio track I am using. There were some passages of this music video in which the footage was out-of-sync with the sound, and this sloppy editing is something which is fairly common to see in music videos of that time. I have done some work on fixing this. It involved removing some frames at the 2:11, 2:53 and 3:33 time-points, and slowing down the footage between 2:47 and 2:48.

That was the best-quality upload of this performance that I could find online. For this footage to synchronise with the HQ audio track I am using, I had to slow it down slightly, and I had to slow it down more between 4:11 and 4:18 than elsewhere. I have also cropped the edges of the video picture, just enough to clean them up.

I have upscaled the resolution of both source videos from 480p to 1080p, as this increases the bitrate, which slightly improves picture quality at all the different resolution settings the viewer can select, but please be aware that playing it at the 1080p setting is not going to make it look as good as a true 1080p video. I have also added optional subtitles for the lyrics.

This song was written by Don Barnes, Jeff Carlisi and Jim Peterik. The song's Wikipedia page includes "Frankie Sullivan" as one of the writers, but I have seen no other source making this claim and it seems incorrect. This track was produced by Rodney Mills, and was released in 1982. The lead vocalist is Don Barnes and the guitar solos are by Jeff Carlisi. The footage I am using for the second guitar solo features Don Barnes playing it, as Jeff had left that band by that point, but the footage fits perfectly because Don plays Jeff's solo note-for-note.

According to Wikipedia, this single reached No. 9 in Canada and No. 10 in their native USA. No other territories are mentioned.
