It is a project which aims to bridge the gap between deaf and dumb communities and normal masses. This project converts sign language to text and speech.
The Objective
The major goal of this project is to assist deaf and dumb individuals by reducing communication barriers, allowing them to communicate their sentiments and emotions anytime they choose, rather than being limited to a tiny social group.
It would also be beneficial in terms of educational and health difficulties for deaf and dumb individuals.
The Innovation
Embedded system is the technology used in this project.
Various sensors are connected to a microcontroller, which measures sensor data quantitatively and then codes them using the C programming language.
Additional Information
The project's microcontroller is an Arduino NANO, and the sensors are flex sensors and an accelerometer.
