We hope that this video and sharing the experience helps you empathize with kids and youth in foster care. This is a very typical and uneventful experience of a first night. "Miss A" represents any teen in foster care.

A new teen foster placement joins us and we talk about how we prepare, how drop off goes and what the first evening and next day is like.

*10/22/2021 Note* We share more information in this video than we would with current placements. We learn and grow and adapt. However, at this point (and even at the time) "Miss A" knows what we shared and has watched it (more than once) and is comfortable with this video being public. Based on her age, maturity, development and parent awareness, we are keeping this video public.
