Since trend lines are used in all the markets so you can apply this method for any markets including forex, CFD, Stocks, Cryptocurrencies, and etc.

Some traders use trendlines only for detecting the direction of the market while other use them for finding supports and resistances. if you are in the first category, you don't need to be very precise at drawing trendlines.

On the other hand, if you're going to make a strategy based on trend lines acting as supports and resistances, you need to draw them more accurately.
