Hey there, everyone - welcome back to art class! We're going to use a little geometry today in art class and make our very own interlocking tessellation art, inspired by the mind-boggling illustrations of M.C. Escher. He's known for creative innovative tessellations (interlocking patterns of shapes), incredible optical illusions, and fantastical transformative images - a perfect blend of art and mathematics. Now it's our turn to tessellate! Just follow along with me and, if I move too fast, feel free to pause the video so you can catch up.
