The Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge in Sanibel Florida has a FREE wonderful visitor center, and this park is known as one of the top 10 parks for bird watching in America! In addition, there are 3 trails including the Indigo Trail and Wulfert Keys Trail and biking opportunities and a perfect place to kayak! We took a leisurely drive and climbed the observation tower too. There are birds, flowers, mangroves, walking trails and plenty of viewing areas. The drive is closed on Fridays. On our way over to Sanibel, we show you the Causeway Islands Park, where you can bring your RV for a day at the beach for FREE on this Lee County treasure.
