In winter time it's common to see #ACC and Front Assist sensor fault message. Here, in Volkswagen Golf MK7, it appeared short after starting the trip. Happily there's an easy fix for that. Most common cause is snow or ice restricting radars view. Check the front bumper to see if there's nothing stuck on the radar or directly in front of the #sensor.
I believe that this message is described in user manual. But it's not the first time that someone will look for the answer on YouTube instead of studying the user guide. Enjoy!
👉 This sensor #fault ("ACC and Front Assist: no sensor view") is not related to the windscreen camera (lane assist, light assist, traffic sign recognition) but it's a good idea to keep your windscreen clean as well. Radar and the front facing camera work together for better road recognition.
👉 Front facing radar in pre-faceliftVW Golf MK7 is located in front grill. Facelift VW Golf MK7 front facing radar is behind the badge. In other VAG cars (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda) you can find the radar somewhere in the front bumper. In some cars there's even two radars.
