Madumicin ammonium is a monovalent monoglycoside ionophore anticoccidial drug with a broad spectrum of anticoccidial. It is highly effective against Eimeria coccidioides such as poisonous, giant, tender, stacked, Brucelli, and metamorphosis in chickens. It is also effective against strains resistant to other polyether anticoccidiostats. Madumicin ammonium can interfere with the early stage of coccidia life cycle, that is, the sporozoite stage of coccidia development and the first generation of schizonts. Maduramicin ammonium not only inhibits the growth of coccidia, but also kills coccidia. When maduramicin ammonium is mixed with chickens (5mg/kg feed), the elimination half-life in liver, kidney, muscle, skin, fat and other tissues is about 24 hours.
