Final Fantasy XI Longplay: Part 1 (No Commentary)

In Part 1 of this series we create our protagonist and begin our journey in the land of Vana'diel (Bahamut Server). Spethcraft is an Elvaan Red Mage from Bastok. Spethcraft spends their time familiarizing themselves with the city and all of the possibilities. The systems at his disposal are vast although confusing at first. He ventures into the wilds to test his mettle against bees, lizards, and worms. He receives images of epic quests to come in the future. He meets many new friends, including his house moogle pal. Finally, he begins his quest to help his nation.

In 2020 I was playing a recent Final Fantasy game and realized I had only played a few games from the series and never actually finished any of them. I decided to then play through them all and record them as a fun personal project. I fixed up a portable CRT TV from the 80's for my office that now loops my playthroughs. I wanted to focus my playthroughs on what I personally enjoy about gaming. Beautiful scenery, rich stories, and fun challenges.

*I try to keep pausing to a minimum so if I need to step away for a snack I try to do so in interesting areas.*
