Hey all, just a quick video showing that Conty does indeed work on Void Musl. Imo, this is easier than messing around with a chroot environment or installing some soyware like flatpak which, from what I've gleaned, is still a pain in the ass to setup anyway.
In my last video, I explained how to setup Conty for Slackware. The process is basically the same for Void Musl as well, so go ahead and watch that for the details on actually setting it up. I also stated that updating Conty would result in Easy Anti Cheat breaking because of a glibc bug that changed DT_HASH to DT_GNU_HASH, thus breaking epics EAC. I'm not going to get into the ethics behind all this, because at the end of the day, Epic's using the deprecated DT_HASH section, instead of the "new" DT_GNU_HASH section, while glibc is, in some peoples view, breaking user space... so you decide who's the guilty party (epic, because they're scum of the fucking earth).
Anyway, I really appreciate y'all being here, and I hope you enjoy. Got some more things in mind for videos, so make sure to come back and check it all out.
