About the Statewide Palliative Care Clinical Network:
The Network is com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing the best pal­lia­tive care ser­vice to patients, car­ers and the wider com­mu­ni­ty. We will deliv­er bet­ter pal­lia­tive care through:
- increas­ing aware­ness of advanced care planning;
- devel­op­ing bet­ter health lit­er­a­cy in the community;
- col­lab­o­rat­ing to improve data col­lec­tion; and
- mea­sur­ing, mon­i­tor­ing and reporting.

The Net­work is the first to imple­ment a co-lead­er­ship struc­ture in South Australia. This sees both a clin­i­cal and con­sumer rep­re­sen­ta­tive join forces to lead the network.
