In December of 2000, my wife, after 25 hours worth of the hardest labor I had ever seen, had to have an emergency C-section. Her ligaments in the symphysis pubis wouldn't stretch. She had fractured them years ago. They, cemented shut and she just didn't expand. There's an eight, nine, no, there was an almost 10 pound baby in there, and he couldn't get out.
