To date, over 15,000 NAFA graduates have emerged as accomplished artists, leaders, mentors and educators in the arts and creative industries. They have garnered accolades and awards in international competitions and exhibitions and contributed actively in an increasingly creative economy, both in Singapore and beyond.
Talent Development Programme (TDP)
Convocation 2019 also marked the graduation of the first cohort of NAFA’s Talent Development Programme (TDP) which was launched in 2018. In line with the academy’s commitment to realise students’ full potential, the TDP was established to advance exceptional students who are self-motivated and dedicated to deepening their skills and knowledge beyond the curriculum. These students have undergone internal mentorship programmes and were given opportunities for external training and projects to further develop and sharpen their artistic, technical and leadership skills. Among the 10 in the cohort, seven received NAFA’s top convocation awards, namely Natasha Benedicta, Nicole Choo Jen Quinn, Edward Tan Jia Liang, Lim Ying Xuan Jonelle, Chow Jia Xin Marisa, Ong Wei Lin Joanna and Denise Dannii Tan Shin Ting.
