On February 20, 2020, Lisa Bella Donna performed on a smorgasbord of Moog synthesizers at Western Carolina University as a Guest Artist of the Commercial Music and Audio Production program. The performance was given on the day of a snowstorm a few weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic became a widespread concern in the United States.
Ms. Bella Donna is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, modular synthesist, and clinician. She often showcases her original music in concerts using analog synthesizers. Lisa has toured all throughout the United States, Japan, and Europe as a clinician, drummer, and keyboardist. The Commercial Music and Audio Production (CMAP) program of Western Carolina University offers students the opportunity to arrange, perform, and produce their own music in its state-of-the-art CAT recording studio. The school is nested in the Appalachian Mountains in the shadow of the Moog Music factory and headquarters.
