If you're having trouble removing and replacing one of those pesky GU10 bulbs (or for that matter, MR16, GU24, A19, or other lightbulbs with these two prongs on them), it's actually pretty easy.
Think of it like a child-proof pill bottle. You need to push down firmly and THEN turn it counter-clockwise (if you don't push down, it's not going to unscrew very easily).
