Let's talk 'Schedules of Condition'... 🏢
Yesterday we were instructed by a client to produce a photographic Schedule of Condition for an office property in Hitchin for which we have also agreed terms for a letting.
On his travels later that day, Commercial Surveyor Jacob Wood thought it would be useful for some if he were to outline what exactly Schedules of Condition are, what their purpose is, who might have one produced and when.
Their purpose is rather straightforward, as outlined in the video, although producing one is a meticulous process. Furthermore, they can benefit both parties to a leasehold transaction, i.e. the landlord and tenant.
We enlisted the services of Alan Cowell of AC Aerial Drone Services to help inspect the roof of the property. It was great to see him and his drones in action!
