Advancements in military medicine have saved countless lives that might have been lost in the past due to mishaps on and off duty. Some of these advancements, including motion capture and augmented reality, are in use at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dustin Diaz visited the hospital and talked to a sailor who is using this technology with the help of Walter Reed staff to get back to the life he once knew.
